Day 5

Weight: 194.1 pounds

The 1.5 pound weight gain has me puzzled. I haven’t started eating more and the exercise has actually been up more than the 2 months prior. So, right now I can’t really account for the gain, but it really doesn’t bother me. I am in it for the long haul and even if this is a minor set back, I still know I am eating healthier. I have also been trying to stop eating inside of 3 hours before I go to bed, this has been a bit more difficult.

Walking 30 minutes

Daily Synopsis
Yesterday was the first time this week I exceeded 9000 steps (9152), just over 4 miles. This is a good thing, hopefully I can build on this next week and exceed 10000 every day. I did find the P90 videos and come Monday my wife will be joining. I have used P90 back in 2003 and I saw excellent results, that while not eating as healthy as I am now. As you can see from the menu the enchiladas were such a hit that we had it as a repeat for dinner. The only change I made to the recipe was adding some corn. Still not seeing the weight loss I expected, but I know we are eating better and avoid those foods which are not good for the body. My wife has is a bit discouraged with very little weight loss, but has experienced a few other positives, such as bowel movement and no bout with acid reflex. Hopefully 5 days on McDougall has been partly the reason why.
