Josephsbrau is Trader Joe’s private label beer brand — a California-produced line of seasonal and year-round beers sold under the TJ’s house name. The Oktoberfest is the oldest and most familiar entry in the Josephsbrau seasonal rotation, returning each fall as the grocery store’s traditional amber Märzen. Brewed from imported dark-roasted Munich malt and Hallertau hops — the classic Märzen ingredient list — the result is a darker, more amber, more malt-forward interpretation of the Oktoberfest tradition.
