30 Second Beer Review – Stone Brewing Chill Villain IPA

Stone Brewing has been making West Coast IPAs in San Diego County since 1996 — longer than most of the breweries in this series have existed — and Chill Villain is their latest statement on what the style can be in 2026. The name lands perfectly for a brewery that built its identity on being the arrogant, uncompromising, aggressively hoppy bad guy of American craft brewing. A villain — but a chill one. The beer delivers on that tension.
