Sad but true…
It was finally confirmed today by Warhammer, as he returned to the forums to give the community the 411 on ISPGN.com. For those who did not know, ISGPN started up nearly the time of the release of Beta 1 and hosted files and some very popular servers. “I guess I should start by saying that ISPGN will not be coming back up any time soon…Rackspace had pulled down my servers, they had pulled down my hopes and dreams, it was over. But wait, I had a decent amount of money in the bank now, I just hadn’t had the time to go to the bank and send it to Rackspace. ‘How much is it going to cost to get the servers back online?’ $3500US…Everything came crashing down around me, there was no way I could get that kind of money together in a reasonable period of time.” for the full story from Warhammer himself, check out this thread. Thanks for the update Warhammer!
In order to pick up a bit of the slack, I have uploaded most all of the maps for Urban Terror Beta 1.27 on 3D Downloads, courtesy of Darkness and Panado1 at Crossfire. Hopefully this will give gamers an alternate solution when they need to download maps and installation files. If you find this list incomplete, please e-mail me and I will upload it. I will also try to put a ‘BETA’ directory on this FTP as well, in order to separate the types of community levels. If you download from this site, please let me know how the speeds are. If you have a level you want uploaded and distributed e-mail me.
