New Urban Terror Site
There is a new Urban Terror web site which has been created by Sixpak, who is a frequent user of the Urban Terror Forums. This new site is called Mobilized Forces, while it sounds like a new realism mod, is actually a top notch looking Urban Terror support site. His site is more than just a place to get maps. But for Mobilized Forces to get up and running, it needs the support of the Urban Terror Community. So, stop by, check it out and become a regular visitor. Hell, contribute something, anything. Thanks to the coding team, Silicon Ice Development has been testing build_5 and more recently refinements made to the newly released build_6. Testing has provided an excellent amount of feedback for the coding team. hopefully testing will be kicked up a notch in the coming week. We shall see how it goes. More new levels are being added, such as WetWired‘s level, Ricochet. But this Ricochet has been tweaked. There are some new twists and turns in it, along some great looking vehicles and skins. Hopefully you will get even more thrill out of this quality level.
Weekend movie review. DO NOT SEE THE MEXICAN! It was terrible. Don’t get me wrong, I like Brad Pitt…in a movie like SNATCH. Damn, we can say SNATCH and not have to worry about people looking at us funny, like it is not the correct word to say. SNATCH! Anyway, Julia Roberts is good too, I am down with her. But this was a waste of $5.50, which could have been wasted on the new DeNiro flick, 15 Seconds. You rarely see the two together, maybe that is good, since I am not about the romantic interlude type of movie. Guess I am not in touch with my feminine side. And Miles, if you show that picture on the forums one more time, so help me!!! The flick is about Pitt’s attempt to recover some cursed “pistola” from Mexico, while Julia gets kidnapped by a flaming gay guy on the was to Vegas. Not the best movie, so unless your little woman wants to see, there is no value in checking it out. Stay home and watch a rerun.
I was also offered a new position at my job, I am now a supervisor of operations, which equates to a 52% pay raise. Not too shabby? Eh? That after three and a half years of busting my ass, making friends and jumping through all the political hoops in order to have a shot at it. Of course I deserve it. Then again, don’t we all? I now have a few found vigor for work and working to make Urban Terror more recognized in the gaming community.
