Unofficial Map&Finding Good Help

I actually attempted to play online tonight using my 56k modem. I even found a server 9 hops away, where I was pinging under 300. Did a bit of teamplay action on teamjungle and actcity3. By the way, don’t attempt to use a sniper rifle with any accuracy with that sort of ping. Make sit difficult. As I was refreshing the servers I came across the name of a map I had never heard before called Cheyenne by wendingo. I assumed it was an unofficial, so I downloaded it at The Mapzone and unzipped it. The map is a recreation of a small western town develop by wendingo. Check out the screenshots on the ‘Previews’ page. Or head over to Brian Hess’s, a.k.a. wendigo website and download it from there. Just took a quick run through it, but it looks like it would make for a good time with 8-10 people. I am hoping to introduce this map next week at the NT Clan LAN. I have also been in contact with mikey, over at SnipeNet Cinemas. I am trying to enlist his help with some of the reviews. I did have good intentions to putting up teamjungle tonight, but I am not happy with how the review turned out. One more night of waiting. Sorry Jairdan. It is coming, honest! If you have not been over to The Mapzone, what are you waiting for? Shagg has an excellent collection of maps. You may even be able to pick up some of the maps currently in testing over at AQMD. Why? Because some mappers send the maps to both websites. So, you could actually play a map before it was released, “officially” for Action Quake by AQMD.
