Foiled Again!

There is a high likelihood that [the bomb] would have been detected had he boarded a flight in the United States.” Does Big Sis really have THAT much confidence in the “thousands standing around” at airport security checkpoints across the United States? Pretty bold statement, but I don’t believe she was in much a position to say otherwise. But a top law-enforcement official insisted, “They would not have gotten him” (source). We have no further information as to who this official was, based on the details of this case, as we know it, I agree this underwear bomb would have successfully made it through.

With the dog and pony show infringing on our rights at our nation’s airports, it won’t take much more for screening procedures to be revised again when it comes to how travelers are screened prior to entering a “sterile” area at the airport. I have yet to read a story in which TSA actually deterred or prevent an act of terrorism at an airport, but this latest attempt could have Big Sis rethinking procedures.

For metallic items, like guns and knives the old x-ray machines and now backscatter machines are acceptable. We have seen a few You Tube videos including a detailed example from Jonathan Corbett who runs TSA Out Of Our Pants. Unfortunately individuals like Richard Reid, the show bomber in 2001 and Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, the underwear bomber in 2009 both failed at their attempts, but this time a a CIA informant was the individual chosen for the suicide mission. Unfortunately, “current technology is not good enough to find nonmetallic explosive devices like the newest underwear bomb.” Thankfully the bomb is now in the hands of the U.S. authorities as we wait for further details to emerge.

Here is another example of how government agencies foiled a terrorist plot and NOT the TSA. Contrary to what Big Sis thinks and states on the record TSA screeners would not have have suspected this underwear bomb. “This bomb was put into the equivalent of briefs, so it was much tighter and form-fitting and harder to see” (source). How would an intrusive pat-down, using the back of your hands detect something sewn into a pair of briefs? The AIT machines would have been worthless in detecting this. “The only surefire way to detect nonmetallic explosive devices is using bomb-sniffing dogs, but that’s impractical at crowded airports.”

So score another victory for our alphabet agency, the CIA. As for the TSA, it’s time to review current procedures. Terrorists groups, like Al Qaeda are continuing to revise and improve their bomb making techniques and looking at delivery systems. This time, the U.S. dodged a bullet. What about next time? How long before travelers are submitting to further invasive touching or probing in order to make sure we are not a delivery device.

TSA Busted Again

It always feels good to bring another story to light perpetrated by the TSA, who continues to illegally violate our Fourth Amendment right. This time it’s another seedy TSA baggage inspector in the spotlight after acts of impropriety. It seems Clayton Dovel was arrested on Feb 1 and suspended by the TSA after being “indicted in the theft of Apple iPads from luggage over eight months” as reported in the Star-Telegram. Are individuals like TSA agents/inspectors really that stupid when it comes to electronic devices? Are none of these folks aware that this devices can be tracked? A quick Gibiru search brings up some free apps from the Apple Store.

Now working for the airlines for 12 years I was never directly involved with theft while working as a ramp serviceman. I did witness bags being opened or searched through by other employees. I even heard of a story of a few ramp servicemen who worked for air freight that were trying to steal large electronic devices. Another set were brought up on federal charges for steal of U.S. Mail. I might be getting off the topic here, but theft and searching though bags does happen to luggage.

As for the TSA this is just another in a long series of wrongdoings that further begs the question, of why we need the TSA. I have said from the beginning, this is nothing more than a facade, window dressing if you like to make all outward appearance that the U.S. is now safer with the government running security checkpoints. It’s not! Remember this is the same government that has been at the root of many conspiracies through out history, including the attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941, the assassination of JFK in 1962, the Gulf of Tonkin Incident in 1964 and Watergate, in 1972-1974. I won’t bother including 9-11, which I believe was perpetrated by the U.S. Government.

Yet these incident and invasion of our rights will continue to happen whenever air travel is included. Unfortunately with the government’s power grab, the TSA is only on the receiving end of more power, as roadway, waterways and railways are now subject to unlawful search and seizure by the U.S. Goverment. News has already come to light about Big Sis and her perjury to Congress or the fact she lied in 2010 regarding the “safe” use of the AIT machines at airport security checkpoints.

STRIP TSA

Thankfully I don’t have to abide by any restrictive guidelines or be careful to step on toes or saying the inappropriate thing. This is MY piece of cyberspace and I do with it, what I want. Now the topic at hand that black hole of a department called the TSA, which literally translates to “Thousands Standing Around” because that is essentially what this “security” (and I use that word loosely) does.

While the U.S. Government will lead you to believe that air travel is safer since 9-11 and the inception of the DHS, of which the TSA are their official mall cops. When I was at the airlines they were contracted to man the security checkpoints and were called, “airport security screeners.” I am sure many of you went through a magnetometer in the “old days” when you didn’t have strip down to your skivvies or worry about being man handed by some TSO if you set off the alarm or being something questionable through the checkpoint.

In the dead of night, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) administratively reclassified airport security screeners as Transportation Security Officers. The TSA then moved to administratively upgrade TSO’s uniforms to resemble those of a federal law enforcement officer. They further completed the makeover with metal law enforcement badges. Not surprisingly, government bureaucrats at the TSA left out one crucial component during the artificial makeover – actual federal law enforcement training as is required of Federal Air Marshalls” (source).

As I have been saying for years, this is nothing by window dressing! Their alleged law enforcement powers are still nil! What happens when there is an issue at a security checkpoint these days. When the TSA supervisor cannot resolve the issue, local law enforcement are called in, while the TSOs go on about their duties of securing air travel for our nation. I feel soooo safe! *sarcasm*

It would only be fitting that a new piece of legislation, H.R. 308: Stop TSA’s Reach In Policy Act or STRIP (who comes up with these acronyms) will, “prohibit certain employees of the Transportation Security Administration from using the title of “officer” and from wearing uniforms and carrying badges resembling those of law enforcement officers” (source). Seriously? We are going to have legislative bodies discuss this, wasting and time money, which they are very good at. But come on there must be a better way to accomplish correcting what is wrong with the TSA.

Unfortunately the DHS continues to expand their scope of powers with their VIPR or Visible Intermodal Prevention and Response teams away from our nation’s airports. These teams conduct unannounced checkpoints. Almost sounds like Nazi Germany. Papers? I need papers? TSOs are among the ranks of VIPR teams as well, still with no more power than a mall cop.

So remember if you are approached y a TSO, wearing their fancy blue uniforming, the gleaming gold badge, you don’t have to show them a damn thing. They have no powers and have not undergone any official “officer” training to use such a title. Unfortunate the government will continue to deny the truth about 9-11 and these random checkpoints are becoming more common in the United States.

Words Monitored by DHS

Ah yes, Big Sis and the DHS is at it again, turning the United States of America into a more police state. Jawohl! The following is from the DHS and their “binder.” Wonder if I will get DHS knocking on my door anytime soon.

In the latest revelation of how the federal government is monitoring social media and online news outlets, the Electronic Privacy Information Center has posted online a 2011 Department of Homeland Security manual that includes hundreds of key words (such as those above) and search terms used to detect possible terrorism, unfolding natural disasters and public health threats. The center, a privacy watchdog group, filed a Freedom of Information Act request and then sued to obtain the release of the documents.

The 39-page “Analyst’s Desktop Binder” used by the department’s National Operations Center includes no-brainer words like “”attack,” “epidemic” and “Al Qaeda” (with various spellings). But the list also includes words that can be interpreted as either menacing or innocent depending on the context, such as “exercise,” “drill,” “wave,” “initiative,” “relief” and “organization.”

TSA and Acts of Lewdness?

Child Molester Ralph David AndersonWow, why does this not hit me as a surprise? The headline reads, DA charges Spring Creek man with lewdness. While Elko, Nevada is not a thriving metropolis there are still degenerates who need work and find comfort and a paycheck in the government make work program known as a the Transportation Security Administration. This is the same agency charged with the responsibility of protecting air travelers. Unfortunately Ralph David Anderson, 61 found comfort in “six counts of lewdness with a child.”

This sick fuck got his molestation training from the TSA and probably enjoyed his position at the agency having the responsibility to “pat down” people and especially children. Sick and twisted? Yep, sure is. But he is really no different than many of the other child molesters out on the street today. This guy is paid by the government to perform his acts that included, teaching various sex acts, having sexual contact, teaching the under 14 year old girl to “say various vulgar words associated with body parts and sexual activities,” rub lotion over his body, watch porn and drink alcohol.

Together this dirt bag was charged with only six counts by the Elko Sheriff’s Department. What’s worse is this guy is being held on ONLY a $250,000 bond! Why? I am quite surprised Big Sis and “The Pisser” (John Pistole) aren’t there to stand behind his actions and bail him out in order to get him back to his screening position. What a joke! I’, sorry aviation security in the USA is a completely joke.

Being we are nearing 10 years since the U.S. Government’s “inside job” known as 9-11 and things are no better. Many sheeple are processed daily by the TSA and many accept, what is now the “norm” when they fly. It’s unfortunately more of the population doesn’t stand up to TPTB (the powers that be) and fight for their freedoms and rights as individuals of this once great nation.
